Those of you who attended LinuxWorld 2005 were more likely to have attended the technical sessions. Dr Alvin "Eloy" Marcelo was a panelist, along with Dr Cito Maramba (who at least used to be on this mailing list -- dunno if he still is), at one of the sessions in the advocacy track. What I find most surprising is that he's still qualified for The Oustanding *Young* Men awards <gd&r>. More seriously, this should serve as a challenge to the members of this mailing list, not necessarily to win a TOYM award but simply to make a positive stamp through Free and open source software.
