In my previous company, they don't allow YM, I did it via squid+squidGuard.
However, you can do it without squidGuard as squid offers extensive ACL.

You can use, url_regex or dstdomain and I suggest you can put it on a
different ACL just in case you will allow in the future, its easier to
allow.
