i recently encountered a problem with openldap. while i was adding an
entry, the process hanged. i cancelled the process then did a slapcat.
slapcat stopped at an entry. upon checking my dependent services, i
found out the whole ldap db has been corrupted. i was almost a
sitting duck. buti na lang may back-up ako. i use perl to do all
administrative tasks pertinent to ldap. anyone who has encountered
something similarly quirky? ^_^
What backend are you using? ldbm, bdb or the new hbdb?
