i believe there is but you have to consult your motherboard's manual what
ram capacity and types of ram does it supported...
but still, you are always bound to the maximum ram capacity of your
motherboard... if you reach that limit.. then you have to tune your squid
with respect to your physical ram for better performance... chapter 8 of
squid's FAQ will give you some ideas how to tune it...
