Quoting J R <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

thanks guys

in terms of processing capability i think i'm already be going with AMD, but
in terms of life and does AMD64 still over heat? because in the past i have
been told that AMD process have problem with over heating. was that already
fix or is there a way i can get over that? better fun?

That would have been correct 6 years ago.

These days, Intel chips just ridiculously leak heat (you could have it as a
heater already). AMD chips these days are built with IBM's patented silicon on
insulator process - as all Power and PowerPC chips are too - which reduces heat
dissipation.
