If you want to access the Internet with less inconvenience of pop-ups and spyware, Linux with Firefox is the way to go for fast and more secure access. Regarding games though, you may get disappointed. You can offer Linux-native games but it may leave much to be desired if you want branded games. Hope this helps. Thanks!
