An easier thing to do would be: 1) Give each salesman an individual user account where they can do all the havoc/activity they want, and their own "database". 2) Request management to issue a memo that if they try to circumvent the security, THEY WILL BE FIRED. This could be part of your acceptable use policy when you craft one in the future. 3) Another memo stating that if they fight due to malicious activities such as sniffing client databases of other sales personnel THEY WILL BE FIRED. Such is a way better motivation. Our goals as sysadmins is to make things as simple as possible, so that we could be remain lazy in the positive sense. Sometimes you'd have to ask from the gods, ermm, management to intervene so that you'd not be given problems you aren't meant to solve ... -- Paolo Alexis Falcone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
