And there are other (untold, unpublicized) stories, too, of how schools are very interested / have taken the plunge / are thriving in FOSS. Hey, maybe we can turn this discussion on its head (and probably stop the flood of me-too, same-here stories): why not y'all folks out there trade in your anecdotes of FOSS adoption (planned, ongoing, successful) in schools? In the PLUG site, perhaps, if not in the list (in a new thread, of course)?
