I guess a capable journalist will then very quickly see that the article has nothing specific for him. Let's not worry about them then.
But I do agree with you that the (well written) article has nothing specific for journalists. Change the title to "for Doctors" or "Eggplant PhDs." :-) and still the article doesn't need changing.
If it was about:
- how a journalist might begin to use Linux to do his (her) job, or
- avoiding these egregious mistakes when writing about Linux,FOSS, etc.
