afaik, it's similar to the phone service offered by liberty/ptt back in the 90's
(am i that old?), no comment on the quality. SWiFi problematic? let's just
say that it's still in beta. the meridian acquisition is still fresh and they're
still working on the merging of their operations. and to think of it, if its
_wireless_ ,  you cant expect your connection to be seamless :)

stick to Intelco for now. hanap ka na lang nga ka-share sa bayad. then
setup ka na lang Linux-based WLAN AP.

Has anyone tried this internet/phone service? It became available lately
in Binan, Laguna and its pretty interesting. It's like a phone unit with
antenna on it. You can make phone calls and surf the net at 153kbps by
connecting it on the USB cable costing at P660 per month.

Living in Binan sucks if you want to have internet connectivity. There's
no PLDT, Intelco costs a whooping P1462 for 256kbps (P5000+ for
installation), Digitel does't have DSL coverage in our place, and Smart
WiFi is problematic. So having this is a no brainer. Does anyone has
used MANGO along with their linux boxes? Thanks in advance! ^_^
