It's pretty darn good in our area. 400kbit usual downloading rate, sustained rate (downloading 9 "Alias Season 5" episodes over 48 hours) around 250kbit.
I've only experienced a bad connection once, and it "resolved" itself after a few minutes. Of course, I'm not at home 60% of the time so I only use it in early in the morning and at night.
