Hi Rai,

Just wanna clear things out. its SAPGUI were talking about not SAP R/3 XXXX...

Unfortunately no i donot have documentation on the installation of sapgui, might as well search thru the sap service market place service.sap.com/instguides. You can actually post your error message when installing sapgui for java on your fedora here at plug, well be glad to help you out.

Though normally the problem lies on the the java program used, though i encountered some issues on GCC once.. i think..

Post your errors and well try to assist you.

Best regards
Chance

Hi Chancellor,

Do you have any howto's in installing Java-based SAPGui on Fedora? I already tried installing SAP on RHEL3 but there is a subscription for RHEL. When I tried to do this on Fedora, the GUI wont start. I am wondering if this could be done on a free OS (Fedora or CentOS, perhaps).

TIA.

Hi Chance,

I just to know what particular Linux distro have you used for your SAP
client setup?

Problem with the Java-based SAP GUI not all the features available in
the SAP GUI is available (particularly for some ABAP programming
environment).

We're currently evaluating SAP NetWeaver on a Linux platform. I think
I was able to download a SAP NetWeaver GUI client for Linux.

jojo
