How much memory do you have in your system? If you need "lighter" applications, here's what I suggest: Use an integrated browser + mail application, especially if your not really using the PIM part of Evolution. Either use Sea Monkey (based on Mozilla. You'll save memory running this one instead of using Firefox + Thunderbird. At least that's true until Firefox and Thunderbird will use a single Geck run time engine.) or Opera (really light). For the file manager, use Rox Filer. -- Gideon N.
