But we're using Epson Stylus Color C45 and HP Laserjet 1100 here in office. And they're working fine with Kubuntu Breezy without any "fiddling, compiling, downloading, etc.". Our Epson printers, though, are using the older driver, C44UX. But with later release of (K)Ubuntu, the more appropriate driver is already provided through Foomatic and Gutemprint. We bought our Epson Stylus Color C45 printers at P2,700.00 each. Our HP printer was bought long time ago; I cannot remember the price.
