Up to now, I still can’t find
solution with my Laptop’s Standby problem.
I installed APM from the repositories and
there is an option there for lid standby
Option. I did put standby in that option.
Restart my Laptop and tried it. But my
Laptop only dimmed my LCD everything Is
still running (Fan, Hardisk) .
When I opened the Lid, it ask for password
so I can continue working. Is that it?
Is that how standby works in Ubuntu?

to work in Ubuntu
Sometimes, if not all,
the suspend/power buttons are related to the mainboard. I think NEO uses a
desktop-based mainboard, lookout for similar chipsets, there maybe a
workaround.
