I can see the server in the Network Places in the w1nd0z3 computer now but it asks for a username and password. I tried the usernames in /etc/samba/smbusers but nothing seems to work and also added the ones in the system.
I issued "cat /etc/passwd | mksmbpasswd.sh > /etc/samba/smbpasswd" to encrypt all the passwords in the machine (I turned on encryption for the server) but I still can't go in. I checked /etc/samba/smbpasswd and all it has are several Xs for the corresponding users. Or is it supposed to have Xs since it's encrypted? I also created the directories for the shares.
I also tried SWAT but didn't make changes since the config seemed okay from there.
