I've used it.  It hasn't corrupted my data so far.

One gotcha with this driver is it increments the mount count then refuses to mount the fs when the mount count limit has been exceeded.  Don't know if this has been solved in the latest version.  Workaround is to boot to Linux then set the mount count limit to something like 1000.
