I have this problem. I forgot the root password of my box running Whitebox linux Respin 1 and whenever I try to boot it using Disk 1 to boot through linux rescue it goes thru the installation process rather.
How do I recover or change the root passwd using linux rescue? I also tried linux 1 or linux single but to no avail.
Any expert help will be appreciated.
