It's not a problem mentioning other operating systems as long it has
something do with the interoperability between GNU/Linux and other
operating systems. For example: if you're discussing FAT32 or Samba in
Linux, you'll most likely mention interoperability issues with
Windows.

However, when someone asks to do something in Linux then you just say
"Oh I can do that easily in XXX OS..." then that's trolling.
Especially if the procedure is specific to XXX OS and can't be done on
other OS like GNU/Linux.
