use RFTM (Read First The Manual) instead of  RTFM.
but i think the most common user problem is WTFM.

By itself, there is nothing wrong with it.  However, it is the the _way_
most folks here and elsewhere _deliver_ the RTFM message that is quite
the matter of importance for users.  As you said so yourself earlier,
this in many cases doesn't show the good side of GNU/Linux and its
users; and if there is some effort to be made in reaching out, then I
believe we ought to concentrate on our manners first. :)
