What you have to do is get a 10/100Mbps switch with one or two GbE
ports. Plug your server into the GbE port and your network will benefit
from this because theoretically, you can have ten clients maxxing their
10/100Mbps NICs out at the same time. (Of course in practice you'll have
many other factors to consider, and throughput won't be ideal, but
that's beside the point.)
