Hi PLUGgers,

I'm really in a fix. I'm hoping there are kernel experts here,
although my question must sound silly. In SUSE 10, there's a
directory (actually a symlink) /lib/modules/2.6.13-15.10-default/build
which points to /usr/src/linux-2.6.13-15.10-obj/i386/default. In that
directory, there's a file called Module.symvers. Could anybody here
kindly tell me what this file is for and how I could have it in
(K)ubuntu?

I saw this link http://lwn.net/Articles/81399/ regarding the external
module support but I still don't have a clear idea of what to do. I
seem to need this Module.symvers in order to compile a driver for a
Cisco VPN connection.

Thanks in advance,
Allister
