i did a RAID1 on my 2 SATA drives, i need not manage it via software raid coz linux already see it as one logical drive.

my raid1 is basically a software raid. is there any command i can use to check, verify etc. on these 2 disks?

login your your terminal and fire this piece of command
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /]# cat /proc/mdstat
this will show you a cute preview about the Personalities of your RAID devices, its very straight forward no strings attached..
