I tried to change the original firmware to Linux (available at their website).

The switch rebooted after I pressed 'OK.' And then (of course), the web interface stopped working.
I can't identify the ip address of the switch. I tried the usual 192.168.1.1 (or variants of it) but still could not ping it nor can I connect to it. :(
So, I decided to make a 'hard' reset thinking that it will be reset to the original firmware. But it did not.
Question1: Is that a junk router already?

contact your edimax reseller and have them replaced, you have to lie though regarding the reason why it stopped working, this always works for me when i messed something up :D
I don't think Mhac is the lying type.
