hi! i dont know if this is an "ethical" thing to do with regards to RHEL. is it perfectly legal to share RHEL install discs? you see we have an about to be idled dell pe2650 box. id like to try to install linux on it (currently running win2k3), but the install guide only "officially" supports and recognizes RHEL. ive tried installing mandriva and ubuntu, but the installation wont proceed complaining of unrecognized devices. same with fc. question, if it wont be a violation of RH agreement, anyone willing to share your rhel CDs? thank you! joey Hi Joey, How about CentOS. Its RHEL without the redhat logo. It should be about the same sa RHEL and its free. http://www.centos.org/ Charles _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
