but that does not answer the original question which is 'is it perfectly legal 
to share RHEL install discs?'. a friend recently got into the same 
predicament[1] and the RHEL-clones are currently not an option. the general 
consensus i got was different from what jan answered, more so if the installers 
are exchanged without the financial aspects. if anybody can post a link to the 
RH site concerning distribution (especially if it is something that a 
non-lawyer can understand)then that would provide a definitive answer.
