/I am Ted Edward Ferreras. I will be writing a news feature regarding the upcoming release of Microsoft Windows Vista and for that matter, I would like to ask for your opinion regarding the questions written below, just so my article will become more accurate. I hope you can spare some time in answering them. (Kahit po tig-2 sentences lang.) Thank you po and God bless.

1. Microsoft Windows and Linux are two major competing computer operating systems, what makes the former better than the latter, vice versa?

2. Microsoft will be launching Windows Vista, their latest version of the Windows operating system in five years. How will it impact the current trend in computer operating systems?

3. Can Linux conquer the computer operating system industry? What makes it any different from Windows?

4. Which operating system is most fit/advisable for computer users in the Philippines? /- Since the Philippines is a third world country. Linux would be more advisable. Firstly, it stops people from buying pirated software. Secondly, it allows Filipino's to use ther creativity and talents in order to create software. Thirdly, Vista's hardware requirements are simply too high. The expense needed to use that OS is beyond the means for most Filipino's, Linux and its lower hardware requirements fit in better.
