"Director" was my term. I thought Dong Calma was a member of your board
of directors. If not, my mistake...

I know a Dong Calmada -- you might be referring to him. Anyway we
usually introduce ourselves as Board Members... First time I heard of
someone in the board referred to as Directors. :-)

Yes, HALAL is non-profit, non-partisan. We are different from NAMFREL.
Our aim is less of a "quick count" and more of a "citizens' tally". We
aim to be much more transparent than NAMFREL, by releasing
precinct-level data to anyone who cares to download them by text or the
Internet. By being transparent at the precinct-level, we enable ordinary
citizens to audit the database because they can compare our data with
what they saw with their own eyes during the precinct canvassing.

Wow, sounds like a nice project to me! :-) You guys need help?

If you want my detailed critique of the NAMFREL 2004 tally, kindly
google "NAMFREL Verzola".

I think I've read this, and I like what I've read. :-)
