because CICT sent and  trained some of its personnel in malaysia using FC3? just kidding :D maybe because at the time of the conception of this project the only distro the convenors knew was RH/FC, they're practically clueless as to the Linux distro that are available. me and the other trainors suggested that they use ubuntu/kubuntu that time during a meeting at CICT regarding this project but they still went for FC3 :D

if Fedora is going to be a good precedence in our local
government, will it lead to more RHEL/Clone adaptation
on the server-side or they're going to stick to Fedora?   :)

i wonder why ASTI is not doing enough to promote the use of bayanihan as the distro of choice for use in the government? lack of funds? political will? :D
