Whenever I burn something in perlis (my laptop) I lock the screen and in turn activate a random (usually GLs) screensaver. As long as perlis is plugged in to the mains, CDs turn out well done.
i have not experienced the machine/laptop from going into hibernation while burning a disc so that might be an entirely new matter.
I did (auto-suspend when perlis wasn't on the mains :P.) It was unreadable. -- Zak B.
