Friends (to those who owns an Internet cafe especially),

I do not own an internet cafe but we have a Community eCenter that works
(among other functions) like an internet cafe.

I just want to know if any of you already implemented Linux as your
desktop for an Internet cafe. I already know how to use Linux as a
desktop for basic Internet applications only.

Yes, we have.

My question is:
1. Which Linux flavor can support and easily install a webcam?

2. Also what is the brand of the webcam?

We are using Ubuntu Linux (Edgy Elf). Installed is a Logitech QuickCam
Messenger (ID 046d:08f0) working great with camorama and gyach improved.

I'm planning to put up an Internet cafe business using Linux or Free
Open Source Softwares.

Admirable! BTW, I also play DoTA on free hours on Ubuntu Linux via Wine.

Thanks...

My blog entry on it...

I hope that helps.
