I'm using KDE 3.5.5 in Kubuntu. I don't know what version it is in Debian stable (sarge) but from what I know, this feature should be available to all distros using KDE 3.4 and up. I read somewhere that SUSE has a patch for it for KDE 3.3 but I'm not sure you'd like to do it yourself.
