You can use ip scanners like Angry IP Scanner (windows) to see which PCs are
assigned which IP addresses. It provides NetBIOS info, like computer name,
user, etc. as well for Windows-based PCs.

ah.. yes sir currently our ip addressing are statically assigned. but
unfortunately, ever since i got into the company the records was not
been updated. & there are some cases where in the user together with
their respective PC move from one branch to the other ( means they
change from one subnet to another) that's why it's gonna be alot of work
if im going to start DHCP with MAC address pairing.
so sir Rafael do you think would considering with our currently setup,
is it much better if i just make a records (zonefile) of the IP address
& the hostnames in the current nameserver that i've worked on?
currently im starting my research for DHCP... although i'm still quite
clueless

Well i got another question w/c connects to the DHCP security issue. is
there away that the DHCP server would know which MAC addresses is
authorized to lease IP and which are not? thanks!
