That is a pretty good spec for a notebook.. it's amazing that it's vista-ready with an S3 video card. I thought one needed a DX9 video card to run vista.. or you can only use Aero with a DX9 video card?
The head-pipe and heat vent on the left side seems to be a common design parameter. My Toshiba M6 has it too. And it runs hot too. And incidentally it's made in China too.. hmmmmm.. FC6 cannot use the Intel wireless on the Toshiba though. The SD card also seems non-functional, ditto for the Bluetooth. Haven't had the time to get everything working. Shameful, I know... I use XP. And more shameful, I use VMware whenever I need Linux on it. I just dual-boot to FC6 when I need to get rid of all the overhead of VMware. On 5/17/07, Pablo Manalastas <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
In my Yahoo 360 blog for today: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-0OCENX4haau1oA38TsiK4DP2YLk-?cq=1&p=36 I talk about my experience with Neo Empriva 540 SVB, and the Linux distros that work with it. For those who might be interested in buying this unit, please read my review before you go ahead and buy.
