It was just a tongue-in-cheek jest. The business world also needs grid
computing but would hardly use Fortran and C. So, they use Java and
C#/.NET

That's why I said "MPI.. is going the way of Fortran." In the business
world. Which eventually is going to be a much larger market space than
scientific computing.
