Just to update you guys in case you encountered the same problem, this will save a lot of your time :)
Been searching the web about what causing this problem, and found a really interesting stuff. The installed version of ftp in our server is vsftpd-1.2.1-3E.12. This version of ftp have bugs which other users also are encountering. http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/showthread.php?t=566086 They're suggestion right now is to roll-back to the prior release of the vsftpd via RedHat or use the patch that was stated here. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=244686 Now, the question is will I roll-back to the prior release or use the patch. Whats you're takes on this? If ever I roll-back to the prior release, is there a way to do it using up2date? @Lois I also taught of that so I tried it in another PC and the problem is still the same.. I'm using Bullet Proof FTP and the FTP extension for firefox browser. When login to other servers, the permission is ok @ Danny We are using RHEL 4 and vsftpd-1.2.1-3E.12.
