Looks like a marketing scheme to me -- I just hope it improves their
service. So far only Vitro-PLDT's customer support wins my praises (and the
on-site tech support are friendly and generous in letting us borrow tools).
Our machines never had a downtime since (two years and counting).

BTW Vitro e-mailed us about the downtime of their call center due to the
upgrade and it only took a few hours before we got another notice that it's
up.

On the other note: AFAIK you can use trixbox or asterisk home for an up to
10 seat callcenter. But there are things missing..

Knowledge base / Call Tree + Heuristic Search,
User behavior tracking and Call Log / Issue Tracking with Escalation,
Call Id to CRM Customer identification,
Language Preference (Translation),
Call Queues and Fail-overs,
Performace tracking and statistics,
Adaptive interface,
Custom Agent Status,
and Soft-Phone Integration.

We been to all providers, up to Microsoft Dynamics.. all solution seems to
provide only a part of the package and neither has the ability to integrated
out-of-the box using standard API.

Eventually we had to build one that has it all, it's still running on MS and
Flex but i've done some test ports to mono and it looks ok. Only the flex
part is needed to be written to OpenLaszlo; the stock graphics sucks but it
works anyway.
