Hi, all. Comclark has installed a Fortigate 100A (demo unit) in our main office and installed a pfSense gateway/firewall PC in our remote office and the IPSEC-based VPN is working fine.
I would like to replace the pfSense-based firewall with an Endian (EFW) appliance or PC. I've already installed Endian community on a spare PC and I love its completeness! It already has antivirus, anti-spam, web-content-filtering, proxy, and VPN capabilities, among others. pfSense requires one to install plugins for these features (well, at least I checked for proxy features and it has none built-in). The problem is, I can't make it connect to the Fortigate. :-( Come to think of it, I think I want a transparent proxy in the main office as well, and I don't think the Fortigate even has plugins for that (Correct me if I'm wrong). I've already inquired at the Endian website regarding their appliances, but I haven't received any feedback yet. Papalitan ko na lang rin yata ng Endian appliance yung Fortigate. :-) I would like to know if there are any official distributors/resellers of Endian Firewall Appliances here in the Philippines.
