I found some links like this:

Most are pointing to AMD cpus and but the box I got  have 4  dual core
Intel Xeon and its behaving the with the same kind of problem. I will
edit grub but I have to wait for my window maintenance time to do and
reboot it.

I will also take the oppurtunity to firmware and bios updates.
