Partly because it isn't really open source, not in the true sense of the
word, as it appears the license is merely a non-commercial free as in
beer one, making it unusable for commercial development, and
potentially toxic for any open source developer.  More riding on the

  Access to QNX source code is free; source code can be downloaded from
