Happy Halloween and Sembreak! I have the latest Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 with the cool Compiz desktop effects. However, the 3D effects run fast for only one user. I tested by creating two other dummy accounts. It appears that other accounts are locked out from using accelerated 3D. I checked and glxinfo says "direct rendering: No" for all accounts except for the first user.
How do I fix this? Configuring all users to have maximum Users and Groups permissions doesn't have any effect. Thanks in advance. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
