My experience with generic webcams has been poor. They usually have
low frame rate and poor low-light performance.

The Philips ToUCam Pro on the other hand has high framerate, very good
light sensitivity, and works with Linux too. Unfortunately it costs
over 3000 pesos so I don't have one.
