Ang static public IP ay manggagaling sa iyong ISP. For ease of maintenance, and there's not that much users in your lan, I suggest going for router+firewall devices like the Linksys WRT54G. I use various Linksys (WRTs, BEFs and RVs) products for our various offices. It's cheap, it gets the job done without much fuss, and consumes way less energy than a standard PC.
