Just wrote an article in Linux+ DVD mag 1/2008 vol 2 no 1 on AMANDA.

Works well and does the Windows and Linux boxes, I don't deal with a Terabyte
but it does incremental and Full backups, easy to configure and stable.

I combined it with ZRM for the Mysql Db. If you have Commercial Databases
check first which methods will back them up since a harddisk copy will 90%
not work (trust me here. when you need it you will find out.)

If you have more questions on this I can help you here.

If you can out lay some money for the solution you may want to look at Arkeia

Arkeia Options
Arkeia Options are available as additions to either Arkeia Network Backup or
Arkeia Smart Backup. Significant features and benefits of the available
options include:

Application & Database Hot Backup Modules
Arkeia Software has developed a series of options to enable online backup of a
wide range of applications and databases, without ever having to take the
application or database down. Modules are available to perform online backup
of widely used applications such as Lotus, Open-Xchange (including SLOX),
LDAP, MS Exchange, and databases such as Oracle, mySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, and
MS SQL Servers. If there is not yet a dedicated hot backup module for a
critical application, contact us and let us know.

Arkeia Disaster Recovery Option
Arkeia Software has developed an added form of safeguarding information with
bare-metal restore add-ons that will completely restore Linux or Windows
machines in only a few simple steps. Even if the computer is stolen or
totally destroyed, the Disaster Recovery option can re-create lost data on a
new machine.
