yes, it is actually disabled. im using compiled kernel from openvz. i
also learned (from the forum) that kernel patched with openvz disables
CONFIG_SECURITY_CAPABILITIES afaik.

however, i dont have problem running nscd outside the VE. even though
openvz kernels dont have capabiliy compiled in, nscd runs fine. only
from inside the VE im having trouble. grrr.

do we have alternative for nscd? samba is  sooo slow w/o nscd. and my
log is also flooded with nss_ldap messages reconnecting to ldap
server.
