I have looked at these before how good are these when dealing with say the fan 
on the laptop it has such a large spout, and how noisy.

We have over 100 people on the phones and try to keep the noise down, when 
repairing items.

I know the real small compressors still make a bit of noise but would be ok. I 
gather you could get them from one of the hobby stores, the type you use for 
airbrushing. But the pressure may be low.

If you do use the compressor make sure you have a fluid trap, so only the air 
hits the components and not water.
