Hi Pluggers! I would want to run a web based application on our LAN (no publishing on the WWW). Is XAMPP good enough?!
It is actually based on an old version of a distro, I would want to use it on a newer distro but somehow my minuscule knowledge on how to setup LAMP isn't good enough. Ok, it was from Fedora Core 4 to CentOS 4.6/5.1... the app is eBPLS from the NCC. Is XAMPP good enough for the job? I was able to set it up quite easily on XAMPP, and so far its stable... and yes, I did some ""hardening"" on security as I read from some websites and from the documentation. Am I missing any issues that I might encounter in the future? This early, thank you for your inputs. -- David Tacasa Asuncion, Jr. website keeper, forever linux newbie, BUM extraordinaire Linux User # 406430 http://counter.li.org/ GPG: 0A024BC0
