I'm also working on UNIX but AIX not HP-UX and it has strong Linux affinity. If I have scripting question sometimes I posted here in PLUG and most of the time I don't have incompatibility issue with Bash and KSH. I used to work in multi-nices environment from crude old Intel UNIX called RMX (yes they are still in production on Pentium III platform), Solaris, tru-64, AIX and Redhat.
