I would want to try but when I tried the instructions from this link:
http://tek4dpipol.blogspot.com/2008/04/ubuntu-hardy-on-lenovo-g400.html

My laptop slowed down to the point of freezing the panels with random radio
murmurs coming from the speakers.

So far, b43-fwcutter is working aye ok on me. I don't notice the bandwidth
loss, we are using a slow connection anyway. In fact, internet connection
speed on this wifi is somewhat faster that when I am connected via a LAN
cable.

Mr. Artos, can you give me a how-to that will work on a Lenovo 3000 G400m?
I would be happy to try your suggestions.
