hello joyce,

i need at your side to do the following so that i can determine which
part of your configuration has a problem...

go to any host as long as your server is reachable from that host and
do the followings:

1. telnet <ip address of your http server> 80 <enter>

wait for the telnet to connect to your server.. example output
connecting to www.linux.org.ph as shown below:

$ telnet www.linux.org.ph 80
Trying 202.81.162.102...
Connected to www.linux.org.ph (202.81.162.102).
Escape character is '^]'.

2. type "GET /cacti HTTP/1.1" without the qoutes and press enter
3. type "Host: <ip addresss of your http server>" without the qoutes
and press *two* enters.. example using the IP address of
www.linux.org.ph:

Host: 202.81.162.102 <enter>
<enter>

show to me the output from steps 1 to 3 and i am going to pinpoint
where your problem is...

fooler.
